ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero says that same-sex marriage is a "sure thing"

05/12/09 Philadelphia Inquirer:

The Inquirer reports: "Clearly, the momentum is on our side," says Anthony Romero, 43, the first openly gay person (and first Puerto Rican) to head the ACLU in its 89-year history. "It's just a matter of time."

Romero and Stephen Glassman, Chair of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, spoke on "the current state of LGBT rights" at the May 11, 2009, ACLU's Greater Philadelphia Chapter Annual Meeting.
