Special thanks to law professor John Culhane for his four-part series this week on marriage equality and religious liberty

I want to thank law professor John Culhane for his four-part series this week on marriage equality and religious liberty. His observations and novel insights have clarified the scope of the debate, underscored concern about the reach of proposed (and enacted) exemptions, and included a new proposal to accommodate claims of religious liberty by (a small minority of) individuals who own wedding businesses. Professor Culhane plans to reply to comments on his series at his lively and engaging blog, WordInEdgewise.
