Order by 9th Circuit Chief Judge Alex Kozinski In the Matter of Pilot District Court Access Program Approved December 16, 2009, filed 01-05-10

"Cameras In the Courtroom," notice by clerk of U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, filed 01-06-10

(Thanks to an astute reader for alerting me to the order and notice.)

Chief Judge Kozinski has authorized Judge Walker to allow "audio-video recording" of today's hearing in the Perry case. And, perhaps as soon as the hearing ends, the public may be able to access the recording "in streaming media format. Public access will depend on Judge Walker's approval.

The hearing will address not only a discovery dispute, but also "issues related to recording/broadcasting of the trial which begins on January 11, 2010."
